लंदन (भाषा) -ब्रिटेन के नए प्रधानमंत्री ऋषि सुनक ने सभी को दिवाली की शुभकामनाएं दीं और संकल्प लिया कि वह एक ऐसे ब्रिटेन के निर्माण के लिए सब कुछ करेंगे, जहां ‘‘हमारे बच्चे और पोते-पोतियां अपने दीये जला सकें और भविष्य को आशा के साथ देख सकें।’’.

42 वर्षीय सुनक ने लंदन में प्रधानमंत्री के आधिकारिक आवास 10 डाउनिंग स्ट्रीट में बुधवार रात आयोजित दिवाली समारोह में हिस्सा लिया। इससे एक दिन पहले उन्होंने ब्रिटेन का भारतीय मूल का पहला प्रधानमंत्री बन कर इतिहास रचा था।.

Sunak, 42, attended the Diwali celebrations held at 10 Downing Street, the prime minister's official residence in London, on Wednesday night. A day before this, he made history by becoming Britain's first Prime Minister of Indian origin.
